What is rafting?

Rafting is a recreational sport where participants navigate whitewater rivers aboard an inflatable raft. Typically accommodating 6 to 10 people, participants use paddles and follow the guidance of an experienced instructor to maneuver through rapids and river obstacles.

On the Vispa River, this becomes a truly exceptional experience. Fed by glaciers descending from high Alpine peaks such as Monte Rosa and the Dom, the Vispa’s waters wind through dramatic valleys in the Valais region, offering both natural beauty and thrilling rapids. Using this glacial river means engaging with nature in its purest form—surrounded by forests, mountain terrain, and crystal-clear water.

  • Group members work together to paddle evenly and maintain stability in the raft.
